I was wandering around Siam Paragon, waiting for my friends when the rain began yet again in Bangkok. Agreeing that we wouldn’t let the rain ruin our planned trip, we ran to the BTS, caught the train, and got off at the Thonglor Station. We took the exit number 2 and arrived straightaway at this week’s Guide to Bangkok’s chic destination, The Garden of TFEST by TGIF.
ในขณะที่เรากำลังเดินรอเพื่อนเพลินๆอยู่ที่สยามพารากอน ฝนก็ตกอีกรอบซะแล้วค่ะ! ก็เลยตัดสินใจรอให้ฝนซาสักพักนึงก่อน เพราะคิดว่าแปปเดียวก็น่าจะหยุดแล้วมั้ง แต่..ผิดคาดค่ะ ฝนเจ้ากรรมตกหนักกว่าเดิมซะอีกเนี่ย แต่ยังไงซะพวกเราก็ตกลงปลงใจกันดิบดีแล้วว่าจะไม่ยกเลิกทริปในวันนี้เด็ดขาด เดินกางร่มเที่ยวก็ยอมอ่ะ! ก็เลยรีบวิ่งไปขึ้น BTS และมุ่งหน้าไปยังสถานีทองหล่อ ใช้ทางออกหมายเลข 2 ก็จะถึงที่หมายของเราเลยค่ะ Guide to Bangkok ในสัปดาห์นี้ เราจะไปท่องตลาดนัดสุดชิคกันที่ The Garden of TFEST by TGIF.
Located at Fragrant Park, The Garden of TFEST is the latest night market in the center of Bangkok which brings in a ton of good food, drinks, clothes and accessories altogether, providing a casual dining and shopping experience for all urbanistas in this unique market concept. The market opens only every Fridays to Sundays from 3 p.m. – 11 p.m., and only until July 17th 2016.

The Garden of TFEST แห่งนี้ตั้งอยู่ในพื้นที่ของ Fragrant Park เป็นตลาดเสรีแห่งใหม่ใจกลางเมืองหลวงที่ได้รวบรวมเอาร้านค้าสุดฮิต ทั้งร้านอาหาร เครื่องดื่ม เสื้อผ้า และเครื่องประดับมากมาย มาไว้ที่นี่ ทำให้คนเมืองอย่างเราๆได้มาเปิดประสบการณ์ทั้งกินและชอปกันอย่างจุใจในบรรยากาศสุดเจ๋ง ตลาดแห่งนี้เปิดให้บริการแค่วันศุกร์ – อาทิตย์เท่านั้นค่ะ ตั้งแต่บ่าย 3 โมง ถึง 5 ทุ่มเลย แต่มีจนถึงวันที่ 17 กรกฎาคมนี้เท่านั้นนะคะ วันนี้เราพร้อมจะเป็นไกด์ให้กับชาวฟู้ดแพนด้าแล้ว ไปตะลุยสำรวจตลาดนัดแห่งนี้กันเลยดีกว่า!
The Garden of TFEST is divided into an outdoor area for food and drinks, and an air-conditioned zone for shopping. The market would make you feel comfortable in the midst of the busy Bangkok city because the area is wrapped in a wide area of refreshing trees and bushes.
พอมาถึงทางเข้าก็จะเจอมุมนี้ค่ะ ถ่ายรูปเก๋ๆกันได้ The Garden of TFEST แบ่งออกเป็นโซนกลางแจ้งและโซนติดแอร์ โซนกลางแจ้งจะขายอาหารและเครื่องดื่ม ส่วนโซนด้านในจะเป็นโซนแฟชั่นค่ะ จริงๆแล้วตลาดเสรีแห่งนี้จะให้ฟีลแบบ city life แต่ก็มีความเป็นธรรมชาติผสมอยู่ด้วย สังเกตได้จากการตกแต่งค่ะ มีต้นไม้อยู่แทบจะทุกมุมเลย
Entering the big tents I saw the fashion sections first, overloaded with chic clothing and accessories, which is very inviting for a girl like me. How about finding something to eat first before all the action?
ที่เห็นอยู่ตรงหน้านี้คือโซนแฟชั่นค่ะ อัดแน่นไปด้วยเสื้อผ้าสุดแนวและเครื่องประดับหลากหลายแบบ ที่รับรองว่าเสียเงินแน่ๆอ่ะ แต่ก่อนอื่นไปหาอะไรทานกันก่อนดีกว่าค่ะแล้วค่อยแวะกลับมาชอปกันแบบเน้นๆ
We first stopped at this colorful store called Lemoneed that sells homemade and freshly squeezed drinks! We ordered this THB 60 Lemon Punch, decorated with sliced jellies of your choice. It tasted refreshing!
สายฝนพรำๆไม่ได้เป็นอุปสรรคาสำหรับเราแต่อย่างใดค่ะ ผู้คนทยอยมาถึง The Garden of TFEST กันอย่างต่อเนื่องเลย ยิ่งดึกคนจะยิ่งแน่น ตอนนี้เราอยู่กันที่โซนด้านนอกนะคะ กำลังมองหาเครื่องดื่มเย็นๆเพิ่มความสดชื่นกันสักหน่อย ร้านแรกที่เราแวะไปสีสันสดใสเชียวค่ะ มีชื่อเก๋ๆว่า Lemoneed ที่มาพร้อมกับเมนูน้ำปั่นที่ทั้งชื่นใจและก็สีสันชวนฝันมากๆ เราสั่งตัว Lemon Punch ในราคา 60 บาทมาชิมกันค่ะ สามารถเลือกเยลลี่น่ารักๆประดับได้ 1 อัน รสชาตินี่ก็ถูกใจใช่เลย หวานอมเปรี้ยว ชื่นใจมากๆเลยล่ะ!
We were then attracted by the irresistible smell and sizzling sound of grilled beef so we stopped by to see where it was, and arrived at the Barbie & Bottle stall. We ordered the Premium Beef Tenderloin Steak Bites for THB 180 and it was really worth it! The beef bites were super tender and juicy and the sauce served along was rich and savoury. It was just the taste I was craving for.
หลังจากได้เครื่องดื่มที่ถูกใจแล้ว ก็ได้เวลาของของคาว! กลิ่นหอมๆของเนื้อย่างโชยมาถึงจมูกเลยทีนี้ เชิญชวนให้แวะมากๆเลยสำหรับร้านที่มีชื่อเก๋อีกแล้ว ร้าน Barbie & Bottle ค่ะ สเต๊กเนื้อย่างหั่นเป็นชิ้นเล็กๆพอดีคำ เซทละ 180 บาท สำหรับใครที่ชอบทานเนื้อ บอกเลยว่าห้ามพลาดร้านนี้ค่ะ เนื้อของทางร้านอร่อยจริงๆ นุ่มมากๆ แล้วตัวซอสก็รสชาติใช้ได้เลยค่ะ คุ้มค่าราคานะบอกเลย
Now it’s time for my favorite munchies, French Fries! We found two seats at the iFry stall and ordered two of their most popular items, the Crazy Cheesy Fries and the Poutine. The first kind indeed made me go crazy with the amount of cheese! With a mix of melted Mozzarella, Provolone, and Cheddar topped with cheddar cheese sauce, what else can a cheese-lover like me ask for? The fries were also chunky and tasty. While I enjoyed Crazy Cheese Fries so much, one of my friends said that she loved Poutine even more because of the their good gravy sauce.
เมนูถัดมา ถึงเวลาของเฟรยฟรายยยยย! เราหาที่นั่งได้แล้วค่ะ ที่ร้าน iFry นี่เอง เราสั่งมา 2 แบบนะคะ จานแรกมีชื่อว่า Crazy Cheesy Friesส่วนอีกจานคือ Poutine จานแรกเนี่ยทำให้ crazy สมชื่อจริงๆนะ เพราะทุกสิ่งทุกอย่างคือชีสและชีสเท่านั้น Mozzarella, Provolonne, Cheddar ราดด้วยซอส Cheddar ทับที่ชั้นหนึ่ง ใครที่รักชีสที่บอกเลยว่าฟินลืม ไม่ต้องขออะไรเพิ่มเติมแล้วชีสล้วนๆ จุใจสุดๆ! ตัวเฟรนฟรายเองก็อร่อยนะคะ ชิ้นอวบอ้วนนิดๆ เพื่อนอีกคนบอกว่า Poutine เองก็อร่อยไม่แพ้กันค่ะ ตัวซอส gravy รสชาติดีมาก
The Garden of TFEST is also a land of seafood! There were so much good food to try! Here’re just the examples of the grilled seafood we tried and loved a lot.

Now that we’re feeling the need for a drink again, me and my friend ordered a Punch Italian Soda at Chamaa Café located not every far from the entrance. It was refreshing as expected, however, it wasn’t the best we’ve had.
หลังจากทานของคาวกันไปซะหลายยก เพื่อนก็บอกว่าหิวน้ำขึ้นมาอีกรอบแล้วค่ะ เราก็เลยหาร้านเครื่องดื่มกันอีกร้าน เพื่อนเลือกร้านที่มีชื่อว่า Chamaa café อยู่ตรงโซนใกล้ๆกับทางเข้าเลยค่ะ เย็นชื่นใจดีอย่างที่คาดไว้ แต่รสชาติเพื่อนแอบกระซิบว่าให้ 7 เต็ม 10 นะคะ ยังไงก็ลองแวะไปชิมด้วยตัวเองดีกว่า อาจจะถูกปากและให้คะแนน 10 เต็มไปเลยก็ได้เนอะ
I got my stomach half-full now but still felt like eating something with rice so I made my way at Pordee’s and ordered the Mahapralai Grilled Pork. You have a choice of adding cheese or sticky rice to enjoy your dish. Personally, I really loved the taste of ‘Namjim Jaew’, a kind of Thai spicy sauce because it made the pork bites taste much more delicious that I finished the dish in just 10 minutes!
ตอนนี้พื้นที่ครึ่งหนึ่งในท้องเนี่ยเต็มไปแล้วเรียบร้อยค่ะ แต่ยังเหลืออีกครึ่งหนึ่งที่ว่างอยู่แหละ อยากลองทานร้านที่มีเมนูข้าวบ้าง ก็เลยมาเจอร้าน หมูย่างมหาประลัย โดยพอฎีเรซิพีค่ะ กลิ่นหอมเย้ายวนใจมาก ทางร้านให้เราเลือกแอดชีสหรือข้าวเหนียวได้นะคะ ก็เลยสั่งข้าวเหนียวเพิ่มไป ทานกับน้ำจิ้มแจ่ว อร่อยมากกกอ่ะ ทั้งหมูย่าง ทั้งตัวข้าวเหนียว และน้ำจิ้ม เข้ากันดีมากค่ะ ฟาดเรียบภายใน 10 นาทีเท่านั้น!
Before leaving The Garden of TFEST, I felt that it would be incomplete without desserts! I found these very unique Grilled Marshmallow Ice-cream skewers from Snow Park Dessert and it immediately became my favourite. There are three flavors you can choose from: Vanilla, Chocolate and Green Tea, and it is at THB 79 each. The marshmallow was very yummy and toasted from the outside, and the ice-cream was very smooth in texture. We also tried a cup of melon ice-cream from A Cup of Melon. It was not only nicely decorated, the taste also did not disappoint.
ก่อนกลับ ก็ต้องมาเติมความหวานด้วยของหวานกันสักหน่อย! ส่วนตัวแล้ว ที่ชอบที่สุดก็คือ ไอศกรีมมาชเมลโล่ย่างของร้าน Snow Park Dessert ค่ะ มันฟินมาก มีให้เลือก 3 รสนะคะ ช็อกโกแลต วานิลลา แล้วก็ชาเชียวค่ะ ราคาชิ้นละ 79 บาท มาชเมลโล่ของร้านนี้รสชาตินี้มากกก เหนียวหนึบกำลังดีค่ะ แต่ด้านนอกจะแอบกรุบๆนิดหน่อยด้วย รสชาติของไอศกรีมก็ใช้ได้เลยนะคะ หวานและเข้มข้นพอตัวเลย นอกจากร้านนี้แล้ว เราก็ได้ลองชิมไอศกรีมเมล่อนจากร้าน A Cup of Melon ด้วยแหละ นอกจากจะตกแต่งคัพได้อย่างน่ารักแล้ว ตัวไอศกรีมเองก็อร่อยไม่เบาเลยค่ะ หวานชื่นใจคนรักไอศกรีมอย่างเราๆ
Some of you may want to do some shopping before catching the BTS again back home. The prices of clothes and accessories sold here at The Garden of TFEST wouldn’t give any trouble to your pockets. Most of the items cost only around THB 150 – THB 500, and I got one of these chic sunglasses at only THB 200! Girls would really love shopping here.
หลายคนอาจจะอยากชอปกันก่อนกลับสักหน่อย จัดให้ค่ะ! ราคาของเสื้อผ้าและเครื่องประดับต่างๆที่ The Garden of TFEST เนี่ยรับรองว่าสบายกระเป๋าค่ะ ส่วนใหญ่แล้วราคาจะอยู่ที่ 150 – 500 บาท นี่ก็แอบสอยแว่นชิคๆมาได้ 1 อันในราคา 200 เท่านั้นเอง
