Panda Peeks – Hooters Bangkok Review

“Welcome to Hooters!”

As we arrived, we were welcomed with great energy by the gorgeous Hooters girls as they escorted us to our table. Today, we’re going for a big meal! The menu items we were trying would be best shared with friends. I came in with my foodpanda workmates to try some finger-food pairings.

Hooters has just recently arrived in Bangkok and has been a big buzz for both men and women alike. People come here day and night to have a hearty meal, watch their favorite sports league, or simply get their favorite drinks by the bar.

Hooters is notoriously known for their beautiful Hooters waitresses, entertainment (mechanical rodeos, huge flat screen TV’s, Hooters girls’ dances, anyone?) and of course, delicious food!

To begin with, we were served some Nachos with a Buffalo Chicken dip. This was served on a huge plate, good for 3-4 people to share.

The big bowl of dip topped with two chunky celery sticks was centred on the pile of crunchy, seasoned nachos. The Buffalo Chicken dip was packed with flavour!

It was not too sweet, nor too salty, and it had a taste of sourness in it. Our group loved it.

Next we were served one of their house specialties, their Original Breaded Wings. Surprisingly, the breading was not crunchy, as my stereotype of breaded chicken wings would be. This one is more juicy instead.

I could taste the strong flavor from the chicken skin, and it had a unique taste borderlining on sour-sweet. As an option, you can also dip it in the creamy ranch sauce served on the side.

Finally, we wanted to complement our orders with none other than their famous BBQ Rib Platter. Now this, as with our other orders, was a very hearty serving. This is probably good enough alone for 2 hungry mouths.

The huge slab of ribs was served with on a bed of crispy and flavorful twister fries, and coleslaw on the side. The ribs were perfectly cooked; the meat was tender and not very fatty. Giving it the signature Hooters dish taste, the BBQ sauce was also on the sweet and sour flavor, with a faint hint of spice.

This is one dish men will especially love. The group was full and satisfied, we even planned to come back here to Hooters on the weekends to try other dishes! Why not give it a try too?
