Guide to Bangkok – นำเที่ยว Terminal 21 (Asoke)

Anybody up for a non-stop shopping day? Or anyone’s having itchy feet lately? Or … some of you might as well want to have a special dining experience? There’s a place in Bangkok that you can do all of these things I have mentioned. Allow me to take you to …. drum roll, please … Terminal 21.

มีใครสนใจไปช้อปปิ้งแบบนอนสตอปไหมคะ หรือใครอยากออกไปเดินทางท่องเที่ยวบ้าง หรือมีใครที่คิดจะไปหาของอร่อยๆทานนอกบ้านหรือเปล่า รู้ไหมคะว่าในกรุงเทพฯ มีที่นึงที่ แค่แวะไปที่เดียว ทำได้ทั้งสามอย่างที่บอกมาเลยค่ะ มีใครพอนึกออกบ้างหรือเปล่าว่า ที่ที่บอกนี้คือที่ไหน หลายๆคนคงคิดออกแล้วใช่ไหมคะว่า ที่ที่เราจะแนะนำในวันนี้คือ Terminal 21

Terminal 21 is one of Bangkok’s most talked about and most popular shopping mall. It brings the dream of traveling around the globe to the heart of Bangkok as it features several world-famous destinations under one roof.

Terminal 21 คือแหล่งช้อปปิ้งใจกลางกรุงที่รวมความบันเทิงไว้หลายรูปแบบค่ะ สิ่งที่ทำให้ห้างสุดฮิปแห่งนี้เป็นที่พูดถึงมากก็คือ คอนเซปป์การนำจุดหมายปลายทางในฝันของหลายๆคนมารวมไว้ภายใต้หลังคาของ Terminal 21

The shopping complex is located on Sukhumvit road, right next to BTS Asoke station and MRT Sukhumvit station. The place is usually crowded, which translates that since Terminal 21 has first opened its door in 2011, it has already secured a spot in everyone’s heart. Are you ready to walk with me for a day in Terminal 21? Well then, brace yourself, the fun is coming!

หลายๆคนคงรู้จักห้างแห่งนี้ดีอยู่แล้วใช่ไหมคะ Terminal 21 ตั้งอยู่ติดกับสถานีรถไฟฟ้าอโศก และสถานีรถใต้ดินสุขุมวิท ด้วยตำแหน่งที่ตั้งใจกลางสุขุมวิท เดินทางมาสะดวกสุดๆด้วยรถไฟฟ้า หรือรถไฟใต้ดิน บวกกับความฮิปโดนใจทุกวัย ทำให้ Terminal 21 คนเยอะเกือบจะตลอดเวลาเลยค่ะ ทุกคนพร้อมจะออกเดินทางไปช้อปปิ้ง และหาอะไรอร่อยๆทานกันหรือยังคะ ถ้าพร้อมแล้ว เราไป Terminal 21 กันเลยดีกว่า

Let’s go traveling!

I visited Terminal 21 on Saturday and arrived half an hour after the mall opens, the place is already lively and quite packed with happy people, dressed up for their fun Saturday activities. Where shall we start? Let’s wander around for a bit.

ไปถึง Terminal 21 ตอนเช้าวันเสาร์ค่ะ แค่ครึ่งชั่วโมงหลังจากห้างเปิด คนก็เริ่มเยอะแล้ว ก่อนอื่น เราไปเดินเล่นสำรวจ Terminal 21 กันก่อนดีกว่าค่ะ

I totally enjoy the theme of this place, the first thing I’ve noticed is the glass facade right next to BTS station and a crisscrossing bunch of escalators, which resemble a modern-day airport terminal. The journey-around-the-world theme continues once you set your feet inside. Different floors represent different designated international dream destinations.
สิ่งแรกทีชอบมากเกี่ยวกับ Terminal 21 ก็คือตีมของห้างค่ะ หน้าตาเหมือนเรากำลังจะได้เดินเข้าไปสู่สนามบิน เพื่อเตรียมพร้อมสำหรับการเดินทางท่องโลก แต่ละชั้นมีตีมเป็นของตัวเอง นำเสนอจุดหมายปลายทางในฝันของใครหลายๆคนทั้ง ปารีส ลอนดอน ซานฟรานซิสโก โตเกียว และอีกหลายๆที่

Paris, London, Tokyo and San Francisco are among several themes featured under Terminal 21 roof. Personally, my favorite is Istanbul, I find myself wandering aimlessly around this irresistible modern twist Istanbul zouk, I just totally fell in love with these delicate lamps. I can literally wander around here all day.

สถานที่สุดโปรดของเราคือ อิสตันบูล ที่ชั้น 3 ค่ะ ทางห้างจัดแปลนร้านค้าให้ความรู้สึกเหมือนได้เข้าไปเดินเล่นในตลาดพื้นเมืองที่อิสตันบูล อยากรู้ไหมคะว่า ความเก๋สุดๆของตีมอิสตันบูลคืออะไร ลองแหงนหน้ามองการตกแต่งเพดานสิคะ เต็มไปด้วยโคมไฟสวยๆ สินค้าโอทอปของตุรกีเขาแหละ

Are you ready for a shopping spree? Do you know that Terminal 21 is a home to more than some 600 shops? Here you can find all kinds of international and local brands. I find some of them really really cool, some of them are really unique that I have never seen them sold anywhere in town.

สำหรับใครที่พร้อมจะเดินหน้าช้อปปิ้งแล้ว Terminal 21 คือสวรรค์ของนักช้อปค่ะ เพราะที่นี่ มีร้านค้าให้เลือกช้อปมากกว่า 600 ร้าน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นอินเตอร์แบรนด์ใหญ่ๆ หรือโลคอลแบรนด์สุดฮิป ที่นี่ก็มีให้เลือกช้อปมากมาย สินค้าบางอย่าง หรือร้านบางร้าน ไม่มีขายที่อื่นนอกจากที่นี่ด้วยนะคะ

This is a true shopping haven for every shopper. With that number of shops, I’m sure there’s something for everyone. It’s not only a home to many international fashion labels but the first to third floors also house several smaller shops by local independent brands. You can literally find everything here; clothes, gifts, fashion accessories, beauty products or toys. There’re also a huge variety of home decor products to satisfy everyone’s ideas. This stuff are creatively designed and unique and the best part is the price tag, a majority of the stuff sold here are reasonably priced and affordable.

นักช้อปทั้งหลายต้องรักที่นี่มากแน่นอน ไม่ว่าจะเป็นสินค้าอะไร Terminal 21 ก็มีให้คุณเลือกซื้อหาได้ตามใจอยากค่ะ ร้านค้าเกือบทั้งหมดจะอยู่ในบริเวณชั้น 1 ถึงชั้น 3 ส่วนมากจะเป็นร้านแบรนด์โลคอล คนที่รักสินค้าที่ขายไอเดียเก๋ๆ สินค้าแบบ niche น่าจะชอบการมาช้อปที่นี่ค่ะ จริงๆมีร้านขายุกอย่างเลย ทั้งร้านขายเสื้อผ้า (มีเยอะมาก) สินค้ากิฟต์ชอป เครื่องประดับ เครื่องสำอางค์ ของเล่น ของแต่งบ้าน แม้แต่ผลิตภัณฑ์โอทอปก็มีขายที่นี่ค่ะ สินค้าส่วนมากราคาไม่แพงมากด้วย

Let’s go dining!

After spending so much energy wandering around from floor to floor. I’m totally starving. But once in Terminal 21, worry not my friends… you’re exactly in the heart of food paradise. Here you can find all kinds of mouthwatering Thai and international restaurant and food shops.
สำหรับนักชิมแล้ว ที่นี่ก็ถือว่าเป็นสวรรค์ของพวกคุณเช่นกันค่ะ Terminal 21 เต็มไปด้วยร้านอาหารมากมาย มีอาหารให้เลือกทุกประภท ทุกชั้นต้องมีร้านอาหาร หรือไม่ก็ซุ้มขายเครื่องดื่มหรือขนมเล็กๆ รับรองว่า มาเดิน Terminal 21 ไม่มีทางหิว

However, I think Terminal 21 is most renowned for its cheapest food court in Bangkok (and probably Thailand.) The food court is the real gem of Terminal 21. Let’s head up to the 5th floor, but for anyone who wants to avoid the crowd, I totally recommend avoiding people’s lunch and dinner time. No kidding, the food court is extremely packed and crowded around 12pm – 2pm and from 6pm – 8pm.

แต่ส่วนตัวคิดว่า Terminal 21 เป็นที่รู้จักอย่างมากเพราะ ฟู้ดคอร์ทของทางห้างค่ะ ทุกคนพูดเป็นเสียงเดียวกันว่า ฟู้ดคอร์ทที่นี่มีดีที่ราคา เพราะว่าราคาถูกมาก (ถูกกว่าร้านอาหารตามสั่งริมทางอีก) ใครอยากมาทานฟู้ดคอร์ทที่นี่ แนะนำว่าอาจจะต้องเลี่ยงเวลาอาหารเที่ยง หรืออาหารเย็นนิดนึง เพราะว่าคนเยอะมากๆ แนะนำให้ไปเดินเล่นรอให้คนน้อยหน่อย ไม่ก็รีบไปทานก่อนที่ที่นั่งจะเต็มนะคะ

All in all, for me, Terminal 21’s food court is the best food court in Bangkok considering the price, taste, quality, and variety.

สำหรับเราแล้ว เราชอบฟู้ดคอร์ทของ Terminal 21 เพราะว่า ราคาถูก รสชาติก็อร่อย แถมยังคุณภาพดี อาหารปรุงสุก สดใหม่ สะอาด และมีตัวเลือกให้เลือกเยอะมากค่ะ ไม่แปลกใจที่ทำไมฟู้ดคอร์ท Terminal 21 ครองใจใครหลาย

Oh! And don’t forget to spare some room for desserts. There’re a good number of bakeries, ice cream parlors, cake shops, dessert stalls on almost every floor of Terminal 21.

อย่าลืมเผื่อท้องไว้สำหรับของหวานด้วยนะคะ ที่นี่มีร้านอาหารให้เลือกทานเยอะมาก ทั้งในฟู้ดคอร์ท (จะเป็นพวกขนมไทยกับผลไม้) แล้วก็ร้านเบเกอรี่ เค้กช้อป ร้านไอศครีมค่ะ สังเกตว่าที่นี่มีร้านขายขนม หรือพวกไลท์มีล ทุกชั้นเลย

My favorite: Aino Japanese Crepe at LG Floor. Wide selection of savory and a sweet crepe. Fresh cream is not sweet combined with fresh fruits like kiwi, banana or mango, just to refresh my afternoon.

แนะนำให้ลองทาน Aino Crepe เครปญี่ปุ่นแบบเย็น ครีมสดมันๆ ไม่หวาน บวกกับผลไม้สด อร่อยมาก นอกจากเครปแบบหวานแล้วยังมีเครปไส้เค็มขายด้วย

Fancy a decent coffee? Avid coffee drinkers (like myself, for example) will love this place as much as I do. I also did rounds of coffee shops around Terminal 21 and found that there’re lots of cafes, that serve great coffees.

สำหรับคอกาแฟ ที่ Terminal 21 ก็มีคอฟฟี่ช็อปไว้บริการหลากหลายร้านมากๆ เคยลองทาน 2-3 ร้าน พบว่า อร่อยและกาแฟคุณภาพดีค่ะ

Let’s go to Hollywood!

Wrapping up Saturday night with a late night movie seems like a really great idea, don’t you think? And to complete the enjoyable lifestyle experience, let’s head to the cinema, which is located on the very top floor, occupies the majority space of the Hollywood theme floor.

In conclusion, Terminal 21 is all about a refreshing and alluring shopping and dining experience. It attracts people of all ages with its fun and awe-inspiring atmosphere. Considering a good number of shopping malls in Asoke and nearby area, Terminal 21 has its own edge. It’s different since the mall’s concept is bold and creative. I loved my “One day in Terminal 21” adventure very much and think that the place is definitely worth visiting.

โดยรวมๆแล้ว Terminal 21 เป็นห้างที่ขายไอเดียเก๋ๆ พร้อมตีมฮิปๆ ที่ใครมาเดินจะได้พบกับประสบการณ์ที่น่าประทับใจ ไม่ใช่แค่ร้านค้า หรือร้านอาหารเท่านั้นที่เป็นทีเด็ดของห้าง แต่การตกแต่งอย่างพิถีพิถัน ผ่านไอเดียการออกแบบอย่างสร้างสรรค์ที่คิดมาอย่างดีแล้วว่าได้ใจคนทุกวัยแน่นอน ทำให้ห้างแห่งนี้เป็นแม่เหล็กของย่านอโศก ใครผ่านไปผ่านมาก็ต้องขอแวะเข้าไปเดินเล่นให้หายเหนื่อนซักหน่อย

It’s already really late and it’s time for me to bid farewell to Terminal 21. I enjoyed my whole day here so much and I will definitely return (at least for the cheap foods and those lamps in Istanbul floor.)

ออกมาจากโรงหนังก็ค่อนข้างดึกแล้ว หนึ่งวันที่ Terminal 21 มีกิจกรรมให้ทำหลากหลายมากๆค่ะ การได้มาเดินเล่นพักผ่อน ทานอาหารอร่อยๆ ราคาไม่แพงที่นี่ถือเป็นอีกหนึ่งไอเดีย สำหรับทุกคนที่ยังไม่มีแพลนว่าวันหยุดสุดสัปดาห์จะไปไหนดี ส่วนตัวอยากกลับมาที่นี่อีก (อย่างน้อยขอมาทานอาหารที่ฟู้ดคอร์ท แล้วก็ดูโคมไฟที่อิสตันบูลค่ะ)
